we’ve opened up the OtC lock-up to take delivery of Dub Protection & The Sportswear Mystics.

Alex Patchwork and General Rubbish rather impetuously dubbed-out and bootlegged their own sold-out debut LP from 2020 and felt it necessary to mark the occasion with a homage to the O.G. Thomsun Original (the 80s bootleg pirates from Dubai).

With the OtCHQ out of action we’ve raided the local post office and gathered-up these stray cassettes. There’s approximately 7 left once we’ve got this last batch back out in the postal lottery.

Walkmans to the ready for a 48min journey that delves into the prophetic, outer-reaches of the sportwear laden dub mystics (other personal tape-cassette players are available).

OtC Family Subscribers will be receiving a copy along with Double Drop Vol 1 which is also now shipping worldwide.

I can't speak to the lyrics, but I really like this manifestation of electronic lounge music and North African drums and vocals. It's good late night chill music, not downtempo but energetic in a laid back way musically. Gaelan D'costa
